Subject: Road Safety Awareness Campaign at Subash Bose Park
Dear Sanjay,
I hope you are doing well. I wanted to share an exciting experience we had last Friday as part of Oorjja's road safety awareness campaign at Subash Bose Park. It was an eventful day filled with creativity, performances, and meaningful interactions.
Our day began in the morning with a drawing session focused on road safety. Along with Daksha, we created posters highlighting important messages about safe driving and pedestrian rules. It was a great way to express awareness through art. After the session, we also practiced for our mime performance, which was scheduled for later in the afternoon. By 3 PM, all our preparations were complete.
We then headed to Subash Bose Park, a beautiful location with a large water body and a magnificent ship nearby. Once we arrived, we waited for Oorjja to join us. As soon as she arrived, we started planning how to engage with the people around us. Sreelakshmi and Hasna interacted with a few individuals, spreading awareness about road safety and the purpose of our event.
The highlight of the evening was the mime performance. Oorjja gave an outstanding performance, capturing everyone’s attention. Daksha’s mime was also very impressive, effectively conveying the importance of road safety through silent expressions. The audience seemed deeply engaged, and we felt proud to be part of something so impactful.
Nazreen Ma’am was extremely happy with how everything turned out. She praised our efforts, calling it a perfect event. To wrap up the day on a sweet note, we all enjoyed choco bars, which felt refreshing in the cool evening breeze.
Take care!
Best regards,
Amarjith As
